Good evening, my dear readers!  Wanted to share a piece of pretty darn cool news with y’all before I turn in for the night.  I recently submitted one of my very favorite stories that I’ve written, “Paint the Sky” (that’s Story #33 from July 10th) to a pretty darn cool literary blog called The Story Shack that pairs writers up with illustrators.  Well, “Paint the Sky” was accepted and has been re-published on The Story Shack, with an absolutely beautiful accompanying illustration by the talented Hong Rui Choo.

By the way, those of you who also dabble in flash fiction (or are consumed by it), I encourage you to submit some of your work to this site.  They’re always looking for new stories and it’s a great way to get your writing in front of a new (or at least expanded) audience.
